Megan Williams - about me
I have been a homeopath and a social worker working with refugees, young people, families and older people. Over 16 years I have worked in the areas of mental health, youth support and in hospice settings for both voluntary and statutory organisations during which I completed an advanced diploma in Integrative Counselling.
I choose to be a professional counsellor because I love to support people in their process of self-exploration through the challenge of life situations and transitions in a deeply focused and effective way.
My practice is supported by continuing professional and personal development. I am a registered member of the BACP and work in accordance with their ethical framework. I receive regular supervision to support and enhance my work.
In the past I have experienced divorce, bereavement and many years of single parenthood which have taught me to respect the frailty and complexity as well as the fullness of our human lives. I am inspired by wanderings in nature and learning from the natural world within and around me.
